FREE College Campus Safety Seminar

Saturday August 16th - 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM

On Saturday 16th August from 11:15 to 12:45, SEPS & Krav Maga Yashir Boston, will be hosting its free annual College Campus Safety Seminar. This free 90 minute seminar, will look at the various, threats and dangers that face young women on university campuses, from muggings and purse snatches to date rape and other sexual assaults. As well as teaching physical solutions to these issues, preventative measures will be looked at, along with ways to identify, predict and avoid violence before it occurs.

We may often think of personal safety as being little more than common sense, however the very people we are trying to protect ourselves against understand this, and are able to get our safety rules to work against us. In this 90 minute seminar, we will look at how rapists and other predatory individuals operate and how they use our common sense and logic to trip us up, and facilitate their crimes. Rather than prescribe a set of safety rules to follow, this seminar will teach you how to make dynamic risk assessments of the situations you may find yourself in, and determine solutions to them.

This seminar is open to young women aged 17 and up (female parents and guardians are welcome to attend). If you would like to attend this free seminar, please use the form below to register.
